Batuhan joined us last year after previously been working as a consultant within functional safety for Volvo Group. He has join a project that Carabiner work on within functional safety for breaking and steering for Volvo Cars. We sat down to ask him a couple of questions to get to know him a bit better.
Can you tell us a litte bit about your professional background?
I have started my career as a functional safety intern in a startup company. I really enjoyed working with Functional Safety so I continued in the same company as an Functional Safety Engineer. My responsibility was to perform HARA for different domains. After, I got the opportunity to start working on functional safety domain for Autonomous Truck project.
My major focus was to perform Technical Safety Concept for brake and steering.
What do you like to do in your spare free time?
I like to go climbing. I have recently joined Kickboxing and I am having a lot of fun for now. My life style is always try something new so I like to travel the countries where I have never been. My next goal is to start playing electric guitar.
How would you describe yourself with three words?
Energetic, Empathetic, Responsible.
What made you curious about Carabiner?
Since I have been working on Functional Safety, I have heard about Carabiner. I saw the opportunity develop myself within this area with experts at Carabiner.
