We are happy to welcome Mert and Bahadir to Carabiner. Last week was their first week here and they have started to settling in at the office and in our great city of Gothenburg.
we took a couple of minutes to ask them a few questions to get to know them a bit better.
Can you tell us a little bit about your background?
Mert: I am an Automotive Software Engineer with 4 years of experience in embedded and model-based software developments. I have worked at different projects related with ADAS, E-Vehicle development, Software Integration and System Engineering. I worked mostly with C and Python projects apart from Model-based Development projects.
Bahadir: Experienced Electric Vehicle Systems Engineer skilled in model-based software development and test for e-mobility. With experience in almost every step of the automotive V-cycle, I am passionate about designing and implementing software solutions to meet diverse requirements, with a strong dedication to advancing green technology. I am a collaborative team player committed to achieving collective goals.
What made you curious about Carabiner?
Mert: Our company has many colleagues with strong competences in different areas and the structure seems really dynamic here. I am looking forward to meet my new colleagues and I believe Carabiner will help me widen my perspective and grow my experience.
Bahadir: I’m particularly curious about Carabiner because of its reputation for working on functional safety with highly experienced specialists. I’ve heard about their impressive track record in ensuring the reliability and safety of critical systems. This aligns perfectly with my career interests and passion for building secure and dependable software solutions.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Mert: I like to spend my free time with my family and friends. I guess going out for dinner or a movie would be the most frequent activities that I usually prefer. I am also interested in ice skating. As a beginner for skating , I am hoping to improve my level here in Gothenburg.
Bahadir: In my leisure time, I have a passion for discovering new places and seeking out new experiences. Traveling allows me to explore diverse cultures and landscapes, while playing chess challenges my strategic thinking. On the other hand, I find relaxation and excitement in playing basketball, which is a great way to stay active and connect with others who share the same interest.

Mert: Solution-oriented, self-motivated and friendly.
Bahadir: Curious, persistent, and empathetic.
