Earlier this month our new colleague, Ahmad Zohouri, finally arrived to Gothenburg and started working here at Carabiner.
After settling into his new apartment and oriented himself in the city, he will now start working with Volvo Technology where he will helping them with software development for autonomous systems. We took the time today to ask him to tell us more about him and his interests.
- Can you tell us a little bit about your background?
I’ve been working as an embedded software developer in the automotive industry for almost five years. My focus has been on developing software stacks for various Electronic Control Units, including multimedia/infotainment systems, and Cluster ECUs.
I’m skilled in developing/debugging applications in C/C++ languages and also customizing Linux-based operating systems.
- What made you curious about Carabiner?
I learned about Carabiner through a former colleague. Despite the immigration challenges and difficulties, he always spoke positively about his new career and enjoyed the Carabiner atmosphere. Inspired by his experience, I decided to give it a try. Fortunately, after successfully passing the interview stages, I’m now a part of the team and excited about the journey ahead.
- What do you like to do in your free time?
On a personal note, I am someone who values collaboration, hard work, family, and finding joy in everyday moments of life. During my free time, you’ll often find me playing video games (especially Dota 2), exploring the pages of a good book, or enjoying the company of friends and family.
- How would you describe yourself in three words?
Collaborative, dedicated, and adaptable
