SafeBase, System and Functional safety, was on the agenda when Babak Rostamzadeh, CEO at Carabiner, shared his insights on relevance of functional safety in automotive and why it is becoming a mandatory know-how in the future for all engineers who work with embedded engineering and software based systems in vehicles.Babak have been involved in the development of the System and Safety community for more than 30 years and been part in developing the ISO 26262 standard. Carabiner and DevPort recently established a cooperation called SafeBase. The aim was to establish an academy that can offer project-support, trainings and share knowledge within the functional safety area so it become a natural part of the customers daily business.
