About the role
Carabiner works with Functional Safety projects for safe vehicle automation solution, supporting autonomous drive AD/ADAS platform, longitudinal vehicle control and vehicle motion control. We support with coaching, trainings, reviews and hands-on work on functional safety and tasks related to the development of safe software.
We are looking to expand the team with an engineer with experience within systems engineering who are service minded and has knowledge on functional safety. As a functional safety engineer, you will do hands-on work, developing and updating the system safety deliverables such as safety cases, safety plans, safety test plans, functional safety concepts and technical safety concepts for ADAS solutions for the customers legacy programs.
You will be supported by the senior leaders of Carabiner’s functional safety coaching team in your development work, but you have the knowledge to drive your own daily tasks and ability to collect necessary information from several development teams.
About you
You have a University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or other relevant technical field of study.
You are an experienced engineer within embedded systems or software development. You have preferably 2 years of experience working with functional or system safety in sectors such as automotive, aviation or railway. We see that you have experience working in accordance with standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21448, DO-178B or IEC 62425.
You have strong ability to read and understand industry standards and technical documentation in order to assess different technical solutions as well as prepare and present technical reports. Experience from development of autonomous drive, driver assistance systems or electromobility is meritorious.
Excellent in English, spoken and written. It is also meritorious if you are fluent in Swedish.
